Shipping policy

Processing time
Every item is 3D printed to order, so there's a production step before dispatch.

• Ready-made designs: [2–4] business days
• Personalised signs and nameplates: [3–5] business days
• Large or multi-item orders: [5–7] business days

Processing time is separate from transit time. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays begin processing the next business day.

Where we ship
We ship across India and to most international destinations. If your country doesn't appear at checkout, we don't currently ship there — email us and we'll tell you whether we can arrange it.

Domestic shipping (India)

Once dispatched, delivery typically takes:

• Pune and Maharashtra: [1–3] business days
• Rest of India: [3–7] business days

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

International shipping

Once dispatched, estimated transit times are:

• [Middle East, Sri Lanka, Singapore: 5–10] business days
• [UK, EU, USA, Canada: 7–15] business days
• [Australia, New Zealand, rest of world: 10–21] business days

International rates are calculated at checkout by weight and destination. We ship via [India Post / DHL / your courier] with tracking on all international parcels.

Please enter your address in the local format, including postcode and a phone number — international couriers require a contactable number and will not attempt delivery without one.

Customs, duties and import taxes
International prices exclude your country's import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees. These are set by your government, not by us, and are payable by you on or before delivery.

We declare the full order value and an accurate description on every customs form. We cannot mark parcels as gifts or under-declare value.

If a parcel is refused, abandoned or returned to us because import charges were unpaid, we'll refund the item value less our outbound and return shipping costs. Personalised items can't be resold and aren't refundable in this situation.

Customs delays
Customs clearance can add days or occasionally weeks, and is outside our control. Transit estimates above don't include time spent in clearance.

Restricted destinations
We can't ship to [PO boxes / APO-FPO addresses / countries under trade restrictions]. If an order is placed to a destination we can't serve, we'll cancel and refund it in full.

Tracking
You'll receive a dispatch email with a tracking number once your parcel leaves us. Tracking can take [24] hours to become active, and international tracking may go quiet for several days between the export and import scans — this is normal.

Addresses
Please check your delivery address carefully. We dispatch to the address entered at checkout and can't redirect a parcel after dispatch. If an order is returned to us because the address was incomplete or nobody was available after the courier's attempts, we'll re-ship once you cover the new shipping cost.

Failed or delayed deliveries
If tracking hasn't updated for [7] business days domestically or [14] business days internationally, email us at hello@whimwhams.com with your order number and we'll open an investigation with the courier. Couriers usually require [15] days domestically and [30] days internationally before declaring a parcel lost. Once confirmed lost, we'll reprint and re-ship or refund in full.

Damage in transit
Inspect your parcel on arrival. If the item is damaged, contact us within [48] hours with photographs of the item and the outer packaging — the packaging photo is what lets us claim against the courier, so please don't discard it.

Taxes
Prices for orders shipped within India include GST as applicable. International orders are exports from India and are zero-rated for GST, so no Indian GST is charged. Import duties and taxes in your country are separate and are payable by you — see the Customs section above.

Returns

Return and refund policy

At WhimWhams, every item is 3D printed to order by Unnahan Creations Private Limited. Because we don't hold finished stock, please read this policy before ordering.

Cancellations
You can cancel any order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it, provided printing hasn't started. Email us at hello@whimwhams.com with your order number. Once an item enters production, it can no longer be cancelled.

Personalised and made-to-order items
Signs, nameplates and any product carrying text, names or artwork you supply are made uniquely for you and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered.

Please check your spelling carefully before checkout. We print exactly the text you enter, including capitalisation and spacing.

Non-personalised items
Unused, undamaged items in original packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and we recommend a tracked service — we can't refund items that don't reach us.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging. We'll reprint or refund in full, at your choice, at no cost to you.

What isn't a defect
3D printed items are not injection-moulded. Faint layer lines, minor surface texture and slight colour variation between batches are inherent to the process and are not grounds for return.

Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of our receiving the returned item or approving a claim. Original shipping charges are refunded only where the fault was ours.
